Common questions.
Do I have to be a past customer to refer someone?
No. Anyone can refer a friend, family member, or neighbor—you don't need to have worked with MJ Roofing before.
When exactly do I get paid?
Your $100 gift card is mailed within 14 days after the person you referred signs a contract with us. We'll text or email you when the contract is signed so you know it's on the way.
Is there a limit on referrals?
No cap. If you refer ten friends and all ten sign, that's $1,000 in gift cards. We just ask that every referral is someone you actually know and who's genuinely interested.
What if they only get an estimate and don't sign?
The reward is tied to a signed contract, so we don't pay out for estimates alone. This keeps the program honest and sustainable.
What projects qualify?
Any roofing, siding, or gutter project with a signed contract of $2,500 or more. Full roof replacements, partial repairs, siding projects, gutter installs—all qualify.
What kind of gift card is it?
By default we send a Visa prepaid gift card that works anywhere. If you'd prefer Amazon, Home Depot, or Lowe's, just let us know when you submit the referral and we'll swap it.
Can I refer myself or my own business?
Self-referrals don't qualify, but if you're a contractor or property manager referring clients, let's talk—we have a separate partner program with higher rewards.
Program Terms
- Referral must be a new customer who hasn't already been in contact with MJ Roofing.
- Contract must be signed for $2,500 or more to qualify.
- Gift card is mailed within 14 days of signed contract.
- Cannot be combined with any discount you receive personally as the referring customer.
- MJ Roofing reserves the right to modify or end the program at any time.
